In August 2017, LinkedIn introduced video to its platform and its never looked back.

Fast forward to 2019, LinkedIn has become the “education platform” with business owners, entrepreneurs and SME’s taking advantage of a new media opportunity that can educate their target market on their business or personal brand. 

But, video content has become very same, same. 

Social Media videos are the norm. Some biz owners do interviews but that’s where it stops. Standing out from the crowd is now harder than ever. What can we learn from traditional media and bring that into the current social media world?

#AsktheExpertsNZ was devised to demonstrate how social media educational content can be merged with entertainment.

In collaboration between Producer John Maybury and Creative Director Jsun Allen,
ASK THE EXPERTS NZ is a Graham Norton-like social media “chat” show with the objective of building awareness of our expert panelists and connecting them to their online tribe. 

The three-episode pilot series tackled everyday kiwi business challenges with a panel of experts to answer real-time questions exclusively to a LinkedIn audience.

The topic for the 1st May launch was digital marketing - Facebook ads, Google ads, SEO and content.

Objective: Reach 10,000 business owners in 7 days

Outcome: We reached 30,000 business owners in 7 days
On a budget of $900
